What Might've Been?
July 18th has a lot of significance for me. If you look at the two previous posts, you can see that it is my father's and one of my dog's birthdays. It also happens to be the date back in 1992 that I got married.
It would have been eleven years, had we stayed together. We could not have, for a number of reasons, but my ex and I still keep in touch and are on friendly terms, even if we have not visited each other in years.
Evvery now and then I think about what might've been and wonder... She got married too young, and we both got married too dumb to understand how to make it work.
I hope you read this sometime Ellen and know that I still think about you every now and then.

Happy anniversary my dearest ex! Just so you know, I often wonder what life would be like if things had worked out differently. I'm just glad that we are still friends. Your other daughter (9 yo Ozark), says hello to her daddy, and Happy belated b-day.
