Back to School

Today is the first day back to class at Adrian College. It has been a good summer and I am ready to get back. I love to see the bustling campus, new faces, colleagues and friends I have not chatted with on a while, and being at the front of a classroom again.

What I am certain that the students are not so fond of is the bloody heat! It got close to 90 degrees today and the classrooms were pretty steamy. I can only imagine how bad the residence halls are: no A/C, cinderblock construction.

The good news is that it should cool off pretty quickly. Fall usually comes pretty quickly and after a week, things will have calmed down.

Ah Fall, my favorite time of the year!
