More Design Practice

It was time for a little more Illustrator practice today. We imagined that the outermost square was a window, which cropped all of the plain black squares that we viewed through it.

Brian, the very cool, very hip guy who teaches the course tends to refer to some of the detail orientation that's required to make good graphic design as "totally anal-retentive". I think he does that to satify some of the art majors, who find this stuff tedious.

When I told Brian that the scientist in me really enjoys the precision and attention to detail, he agreed, as did Jeremy, the art major student next to me. So I guess we are all anal-retentive...

I am having a lot of fun with this class, so will continue to bore you with it as necessary.
