Here it is: hot off the Apple website. 4GB, 1000 songs, anodized aluminum in silver, gold, blue, pink, and lime green. $249. The size of a standard business card with a thickness of 0.5 inches. Click photo to enlarge.

Too pricey. A lot of rumors were running around at the $100-150 price point. At that level, I'd have picked up 2: one for me, one for the nephew. But at $249, neither of us need one. For only $50 more, you can get the newly introduced 15GB iPod, which is what the old 10GB cost.

I do not listen to music enough to justify it at that price.
