Saturday Senses
From Saturday Senses:
How about some whining and complaining this week?
[sight]:: Name 2 things that annoy you on/about television.
The proliferation of commercials, especially those that increase the volume, and the general inanity of most of the programming. Didn't Bruce Springsteen write a song called "57 Channels and Nothing's On"?
[taste]:: Name 2 of the worst tasting foods or drinks you ever had.
I really don't like olives or sardines.
[smell]:: Name 2 smells that you can´t stand and why:
Cigarette Smoke and someone who's wearing too much perfume/cologne. Also, a bad experience with tequila almost 20 years ago still leaves me slightly nauseous if I catch a whiff.
[touch]:: Name 2 things (objects, body parts, etc...) that you don´t like other people to touch and why.
I don't mind being touched, but people should ask before they touch a bald man's head, especially other men! I also do not care for people leaving fingerprints on my monitors.
[hearing]:: What are the 2 sounds/noises that most irritate you and why?
Fingernails on the chalkboard, and the sound a glass makes when you rub a wet finger aound the rim. Both send a chill up my spine.

I was standing at an intersection just before Xmas. A woman pulled up and stopped at the light. I could smell her perfume EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD HER WINDOWS ROLLED UP!
Akkkkkkkkk!

Oh, I can´t stand the fingerprints on my monitor. And too much perfume makes me feel sick and can give me a headache.
Have a nice weekend, Doc! =)

I don't like being able to smell perfume in the hall minutes after women have passed through it (this happens at my office). When you mentioned the fingernails on the chalkboard, I winced from the thought. I can hear it in my head, ack!
