Saturday Senses: Week 22

Patty asks us to use our senses and describe what's going on in our world. I enjoy this meme a lot, but somehow get distracted on Friday night / Saturday morning and forget about it.

[sight]:: What is the most visual stunning website you know?
That's a tough one. I really like the way that Music Plasma displays its results.

[taste]:: Can you order any kind of food through the web from where you live? Have you ever ordered?
The only food item I can remember ordering online has been Zapp's Potato Chips. Gotta love those Cajun CrawTators.

[smell]:: With the digital scent technology developing, what would you like to smell over the internet and how do you think this will affect how we interact with the web?
I am not so sure I like this idea (digital scent tech link). On first blush I cannot think of too many applications that I think I'd like. And certainly fewer that I'd pay to have some kind of USB smell-o-rator installed for.

[touch]:: How fast do you type and what kind of mouse do you use?
I could not hazard a guess, but relatively speedy. If I go too fast, I make too many transpositions. I use a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer Wireless mouse. I absolutely love it.

[hearing]:: Have you ever paid for downloading music from the internet? Do you usually hear music while you surf the net? What kind? Streaming or local?
Yes. I am a new iPod owner, a long time Macintosh fan, and I have been using iTunes and the iTunes Music Store quite a bit.
