Edited to Add: This is a test of a new system to blog via cell phone. Interesting. It'd be better to be able to set a post title and categories on this instead of the standard title.
What do you think? Is this potentially useful or just another gimmick? I am not sure I like hearing the sound of my own voice enough to use such a system. Maybe in a side blog...
I will admit, it is embarassingly easy to use.

I think if used in moderation it could be cool. For instance, a little narration from your recent cross-country trek would have been interesting.

Maybe not useful to you, but I got a kick out of hearing your voice. I agree, could be a good addition to your photo journals.

nice to have a voice to go with the face and writing of a friend...i have seen others use it on occasion, and i like it for a change of pace sometimes...oh, and you should like your voice!!! it is nice...(nobody EVER does like their own voice though, me included)

Nobody likes to hear themselves the first time out That's what Uncle Bob taught me when I first worked in radio.
He wasn't my uncle - he used to do a kids show for years and years as Uncle Bob.

I have been wanting to try this out. Easy to use? That's a plus. And you have a perfectly wonderful voice. I hope you'll post more of these. I'll echo everyone else in saying it's nice to put a voice to the face and words.

The one thing that I'm not too fond of is (no, not your voice) that the entire screen has to change when you play the link. I would like to be able to stay on the original site while I listen. I think this would make the tool more useful, such as a short narration for some pictures.

Silly boy, you have a wonderful voice! I agree with Slim that it would have been perfect during your recent long trip and with Keith, it would be nice to stay on the same page, maybe with a photo of you alongside the icon? I'm sure you can be fiendishly clever and sort that out...
