Music Meme
This meme has been running around for a few days and I finally had time to sit down and participate. I saw it at Joe's place, Play by Play, in this post.
Step One: Open your mp3 player (iTunes for me)
Step Two: Set the entire library on "random" (shuffle) and hit play.
Step Three: List the first ten songs it plays, no matter how embarassing.
Here's my list:
01 - Land of Canaan - Indigo Girls
02 - Only If - Enya
03 - Right Next Door - Robert Cray
04 - Wrap Her Up - Elton John (with George Michael)
05 - Circlesong Five - Bobby McFerrin
06 - Penny Lane - The Beatles
07 - You Can Sleep While I Drive - Melissa Etheridge
08 - White Wedding - Billy Idol
09 - Could You Lie - Alison Krauss
10 - The Fly - U2

4. Always-Ryan Adcock
5. Hurt So Good-John Mellencamp
6. Theme from S.W.A.T.

8. Reckless-Alabama
9. I Don't Want You to Go-Carolyn Dawn Johnson
10. Margaritavill-Jimmy Buffett

I'll have to play, too. I love your selection. I haven't thought of Robert Cray in years and I love his album that "Right Next Door" is from. I think we have a lot of the same albums, Doc.

Thanks for playing along, Doc. And thanks for the link as well.
I need to add the two DVDs to my Windows Media player, and then I'll run it again and see what comes up this time.
And Kevin...I first heard "My Next 30 Years" about two months before my 30th birthday...I really dig that song.

I posted mine up on my site. I don't think it encompasses the entirety of my eclectic collection, but what can you do in 10 songs?
