Angel - Season Three

OK, so I admit, I have been spending a fair amount of time in front of the tube these days. Mostly it is Angel's fault. I rec'd this CD via eBay about a week ago and am currently at the beginning of Disc 4 out of six.

I was a big fan of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" while it had it's TV run. I saw most of the series in syndication via F/X network. I had never tuned in to Angel until a friend told me about it. I am really enjoying it. Interesting story lines, some great characters (major props to Joss Whedon for creating some of the most interesting strong female roles in recent TV history), and the Sci-Fi/Horror/mystical aspects keep me entertained big time.

And don't get me started on how great it is to watch TV shows via DVD. No commercials, multiple episodes in a row if you want. This is the best thing since time shifting via VCR. I don't have a TiVo, but I can imagine this is what it might be like.
