The Chemist's Element
Well, we still have not had much sun or dry weather, but I managed to snap an OK photo of my new car. It is hard to see here, but it is a dark orange color (Honda calls it "Sunset Orange Pearl"). Sitting behind it is the Ford Ranger she is replacing.
I am having a lot of fun tinkering with my Element. I installed my XM Radio yesterday and did a little preventive work on her (installed some mesh behind open areas on the grill to prevent stones/debris from hitting the A/C or the radiator). I took her to the local Truck Shop for a tinted "eyebrow" on her windshield, and transferred my Adrian College front vanity plate to her.
She is a LOT of fun to drive. I realize how much I missed having a manual transmission.
I've decided to have a contest on this site to name her. Details coming very soon.

Love it! We're a two-Honda family now, a '97 CRV and an '04 CRV, named Greenie and Whitey respecively. Loved the Element (Ellie?), but found the CRVs to be more suitable to our needs. Happy trails!

There will be jokes about you finally being in your element, of course....
