Friday Afternoon Stream of Consciousness
Finally have some time to post, thought I'd let you in on the ramblings of this disorganized, exhausted, elated, curious, antsy mind:
-I changed word and quotation of the day to a lyric and word of the MONTH. At least this way it may stay more up to date. The Henley lyric has been in my head on and off for more than a year.
-I made it home safe from Clemson. I ended up personally grading 4680 of the over 70,000 exams. Only one question. It took me 11 hours to get home. I am so glad to be back in my own bed!
-Spent today getting things back in order: laundry, email, bills, voice mail, office.

-I updated books and movies.
-It's raining outside. Nice day. It was not too bad in Clemson...70's. Cold spell for them. One really nasty hot 'n' humid day.
-I need to spend some time taking some photos and spending time on my photoblog.
-I love my new car. It was great taking it south (682 miles each way). Lots of compliments on it.
-Books on tape rock for trips. Way down: "The Perfect Storm" by Sebastian Junger. Way back: "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King. Both were awesome. Thanks to Jeff and Cindy for the loan.
-I thought that the cool pizza place in Clemson was an original. Turns out it is a chain. Check out The Mellow Mushroom. Great Pizza. Whole wheat crust, baked on a stone. Great beer selection as well.
-I am still waiting for mail from Australia. I think it is hung up in Customs. Fun stuff via eBay. Mildly radioactive.
-I am still waiting for a package from the shoe company I am going to be reviewing (read shilling) for.
-Did I mention it was good to be home?
-I bought the DVD for Season Six of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". I don't own any other season. I bought this one mostly for the musical episode "Once More with Feeling", which I have a bizarre affection for.
-I can't wait for the release of "Six Feet Under - Season Two".
-That's about enough for now.

Good to hear you made it home safely. I am also glad to hear the second season of "Six Feet Under" is coming out soon :)
