Life is Good!

The last couple of days have been really nice. Excellent countdown so far to my birthday on Tuesday.

Thursday: Golf, lunch with the foursome, a little work and a good long walk with the dogs.

Friday: Household chores, shopping, a couple of hours of work, a couple of hours of "Sports Night" via DVD, a walk with the dogs, and bumping into three friends throughout the day for random conversations.

Today (so far): slept in, some fun shopping (new shoes, among other things), a mango-raspberry smoothie that was to die for, washing and waxing the car (beautiful day outside, and Beaker is simply glowing now), and a brief nap.

Tonight: dinner out at one of my favorite restaurants (Dan's River Grill in Manchester), and a pair of tickets to see "Smokey Joe's Cafe". Katie and I are going with a group of friends. We then head over to Michael's for an "afterglow" (his word, not mine), which he tells me is a wine/cheese/dessert type of party.

This whole "professor thing" having the summer off is going to have to end soon, as I need to get some work done for the Fall Semester, but I am riding it for as long as I can. Food for the soul, dont'cha know?

Glad to hear you're having a good time. :) Don't remind of school, no one needs to hear about it. :P
