Getting Back to Normal, Slowly

Things are slowly getting back to normal around here. The heat is fixed at home, my new computer showed up and has taken the place of the old one. The old one is cleaned up and heading to my brother's house tomorrow. The office is back in shape and waiting for me to get back to it.

The house is clean and ready for my housemate to come back from sabbatical. I think I am going to take down the holiday decorations today and lay in a supply of groceries.

Sometimes I can completely revel in the day to day routines of my life. Very comforting. The holidays are always wonderful, but hectic, and more than a little bit disconcerting. I always feel a little out of sorts after my family and friends have headed back to work and I am still off.
